Not really a leper

So, part of the Thom Wat. Once there, must not pass it by. The story is that some parts are missing, hence the leper appellation. Do not forget the Bayon while there!

Smaller and no crowds but not a lot to see. Still part of their history from 900 years ago. Once again, it's their history and worth seeing.

Another highly recommended place to visit in Siem reap. The carvings are amazing, although it is once again overshadowed by Angor Wat and Angkor Thom. I recommend it as part of your visiits.

Terrific terrace with plenty of bas-reliefs. Stunning to behold, as is usual anyplace in the Angkor Wat complex. Some of the terrace is trampled by long, tubular roots, posing as stringy spaghetti slices. Their partial strangling of the edifice attests to the strength and power of nature in altering human-made structures. The Leper King Statue itself is mottled with moss,... More

Didn't get to really explore this temple!!! Was supposedly part of the :"Elephant Terrace" and it kind of got bypassed because I was getting pretty tired and was not feeling up to the long staircase. But got plenty of pics from outside and a very intricate piece of workmanship !!

Forms part of the Angkor Thom complex and worth a view. The carvings are protected behind another wall but the detailing is just fantastic and well preserved.

It is nice to explore the carvings on the rock. Once you are at Angkor Thom is a good attraction to look at.

Worth a visi but is quite small. Is next to elephant terrace which is now quite worn. There is no shade here so visit in early morning
