Amazing. Absolutely fabulous full days (6 hours) riding in Patagonia. Me and my parents have extremely little riding experience but felt very secure on this trip as our guides (Catalina and Ida? Ina? I am very sorry I forgot your name but you were lovely!) were superb, expert and very friendly - as were the horses which are accustomed enough... More

After spending many weeks on the road and always doing something adventurous!, I decided to relax and unwind at Laguna Sophia and at the Refugio for a good authentic backcountry experience over the new years period. The weather was beautiful! there is also good hiking to be done if your the curious type. Horse trekking itself was good, we had... More

Excellent experience! Staff very friendly. especially the girl who was our guide! She was very nice, funny and explained everything very well...like all the things about the horses before to ride and she knows a lot about the area, condors, birds, etc. The horses were in really good condition, you can notice they are good horses and are well maintained.... We took a full day excursion today, a family of 5 with teens. It was the most perfect experience. We are spoiled for this type of excursion forever. The scenery, the guides, the estancia, were wonderful. When our horses took off at a gallop thru the Patagonian field, even our typical 17 year old was won over. The view from... More

We had such a fantastic day doing the full day ride. Our guide was Catalena and she was so informative, lovely and also very funny. We ended up having a private trip for just us (a couple) as no-one else had booked the full day. This meant we got to go at our own pace and had a very personal... More

This is the second time this year I've been there for the full day ride, the asado and staying the night in the cabana. I would recommend doing all three of these things to get the full "salvaje" experience. The Pingo Salvaje team is amazing, accommodating, friendly and very professional and they cater to people of all experience. I am... More

Pingo Salvaje is absolutely amazing. It is a short drive from puerto natales and the landscape, the refugio, camping area ranch was all beautiful. Then the customer service was amazing. It was a little bit of a wait to hear back via email, but totally worth it, Paula, Javiera, Claudio, Kai, Lito, and many others were all amazing. Whatever we... More

My husband and I did a half-day ride with the folks at Pingo Salvaje during our honeymoon in October, and we were so glad we were able to do this! A few weeks before we arrived in Chile, we communicated via email with Paula – who was very responsive – about our time constraints, ride options, and costs. We reserved... More

I'll start by mentioning that I'm a very experienced rider. I took their 6 hour ride to the top of one of the local mountains with a gaucho, ranch hand and 1 other rider, who happened to be a beginner. (He had no trouble and got some great instruction.) I worked at a stable and recognize this is an excellent... More

Not something I'd planned on doing but the other half fancied giving it a try, having never sat on a horse before. I had when I was much younger, but not in a long time. It's a nice set-up, the owner and the riders are all very nice & patient and the horses are all quite docile and good-natured. Perhaps... More
