We went to see the Grey Glacier. After walk over the wobbly bridge, 1Km through the forest and 1.5Km across the shingle beach we finally made it to the boat which would take us a further 2Km to see the Glacier. Definately worth doing.

The boat was a great way to view the glacier. We chose this because we didn't have enough time to do the hike. In reality I think that this is the ideal way to see it. I saw people from the edge looking at it...More

Set up a trip through Chile Tour Patagonia and was not disappointed. This boat tour to the Glacier was an enjoyable day trip. Passing many icebergs and some waterfalls along the waters edge all while enjoying some good Mojitos on the boat. The staff is...More

Well worth the trek up beyond the Refugio to get the best view, however great views also from further south.

Part of our group hiked on the glacier. It is neat to see the various colors of blue associated with a glacier. It is cold hiking on ice. We also had some scenic crusing, by the glacier hoping for some calving, in a boat as...More

We walked a long way to see this glacier which is amazing in scope. Loved being in touch with nature as we walked. Highly recommend the trek.

At 57, I have been able to see a glacier for the first time . Coming from Townsville where the Temperature on average is 30 degrees, I was amazed to see this scenery . And relatively easy enough to see.

One of the most spectacular things we have ever seen. We took the Grey Lake boat tour and it was breathtaking. Good explanations in several languages, and it was nice that they give you a drink with your ticket - the adults very much enjoyed...More

There is no kayak. You get a cruise for 3h from the hotel. I don't think its worth the trouble. You can see better at the Perito Moreno.

I am on an organised tour which includes a tour of Torres del Paine, however we have a free afternoon where we can take an optional boat trip to Grey Glacier. Can anyone recommend a company which does 2-3hr boat trips to the Glacier?
