Visiting the temple as it is one of the top 10 things listed to see in Hefei, I was pleasantly surprised to see a small but well kept temple. Similiar in style and structure to many others, it is a small and simple temple, but well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Quiet little temple that has stood on this site for hundreds of years. It was heavily restored in the 1980's so probably quite different to how it may have looked.

Only good for 10 minutes or so but probably worth the 10元 entry for the photo ops it offers in an otherwise drab city.

Very quiet when I went there at lunch time. I was the only person there.

You'll notice this place when you see the large stone lions guarding the entry on a trip down the main shopping street. Combine it with a visit to Li Hong Zhang's former house about a 5 minute walk up the same street.

The temple is really small, so old, not clean and careless. It took me three minutes to tour around but there's nothing really to see. You could take some pictures outside, but is not worth it to visit inside.

The temple is really small, consists of a main hall and two smaller side rooms. It took me five minutes to tour around but there's nothing really to see.

The front gate is under construction and some old lady just asked me over and charged me RMB 10 for the entrance fee. Don't go!

Buddhist temple that sits in a quaint market area. Very beautiful spot for some nice pictures of the small pagoda and to take a stroll of the marketplace. Quite peaceful for a Sunday.

:) Beautiful temple with small pagoda and lion statues, palaces. Buddhists occasionally come here to preach; there are also people who lights sticks to preach here as a result, the fume smoked the whole temple up which can cause some unpleasant smells. Visited today)

The temple itself is beautiful and in the middle of a well-developed shopping district! Despite the constant noise surrounding the temple, this area provides a peaceful ambiance to all who are visiting. This temple has more than thirty statues of Buddha and the monks here are very friendly. My favorite area was the courtyard where you could see the reclining Buddha and the bell tower.

Admission fee is 10 r.m.b. per person. No photography is allowed.

Lovely temple in the middle of a busy and chaotic public square. There is a RMB 10 entrance fee to go inside the temple. There are a number of courtyards in the temple and each houses grand statues of Buddha and his many avatars. Models of scholars, manuscripts and prayer books are all displayed throughout. There is a beautiful bell tower and the well pavilion dating back to almost 2000 years. Outside the halls is another chamber where there is a pristine statue of the Reclining Buddha.
