Tourists must go to the ferry port 5Km distanced from Zhongshan street. Get the ferry ticket in busy season is virtually impossible. Local people doing business with the ticket. The island offers lots of historical sites to see but the number of tourists spoils everything....More

hi, usually i went this place at evenings the ships have a regular plan (i am not sure how many times per hour). Dont afraid the crowded , you are in China and you should be inside the nice population of China.

We did not look for Halal while we were there. There are all kinds of restaurant there and I am sure Halal food is being served. Any of the lanzhou noodle places follow halal food standards and they are all over China!
