I'm a pianist, so I'm already biased about the subject matter. But this motley collection of pianos is really quite amazing, especially in China. So many old European pianos came to rest in Gulangyu!

This is a place where you could see almost a 100 different pianos collection. From a weird shape to the smallest piano, from ordinary to a grand piano. Recommended for those who played the piano.

Even if you are not a piano buff, this place is very interesting. From big Grand Pianos to very small one, there is something for everyone. My favorite was a piano that sat in a corner! So interesting.

A wonderful collection of pianos by a renowned pianist.. Here one can learn why so many concert pianists learnt their skills here and became world famous performers.

I was skeptical about going to this museum but was pleasantly surprised to find it was pretty fascinating. The selection of pianos was unlike anything I've ever seen (including one that was shaped to fit into a corner!) and there were helpful signs throughout providing...More
