As I usually stayed at a hotel (Pullman) right next to the park, I'd go over there either in the morning or in the evening. You get to see many locals group-dancing in the square, playing badminton or doing some other interesting sports activities. A...More

I go there a couple of times a month to go for a walk and enjoy some greenery. Dongguan is a green city but is saturated with ambient noise from cars and daily life. If you get up early enough you can avoid the crowds...More

Qifeng Park is right on the Dongguan subway line. It's an easy hike up the mountain and offers great views of the city if it's not too cloudy. The lantern lights up at night, which is cool if you stick around for the sunset.

Don’t look like a normal park, a big territory with an opportunity to climb up a little and see the beauty of the city. It’s free, has a temple, some shops with water and snacks, close to the metro station and downtown itself. Nice place,...More

This beautiful hilly park is a nice getaway from the hustle of the downtown. It's also a physical exercise, so have proper shoes with you. There is a beautiful temple in the foot of the hill.

This is a great park in the middle of Dongguan city. You can hike to the top of the little mountain in less than an hour. The views of the city are great.

We live near this park, so we visit it at least 4 times a week. This park has three lakes, several entrances, multiple shops and paved paths throughout. It is very well maintained. At night, it is very crowded, as many people are walking for...More

This park, right on the metro line, is well-kempt and large enough that you probably won't hit it all in one visit. We did not, for example, hike up to the high lantern (too hot a hike in July!) that you can see atop the...More
