The pagoda is surrounded by a small garden, with many interesting stone statues. The graden is well maintained, and it will look beautiful when all the blossoms appear, which should happen early next month. The tower and small garden are adjacent to the riverbank. The tower on several visits is always padlocked, hence preventing entrance. The grounds have reminents of assorted stone statuary, most likely from multiple sources as the styles are unrelated to the tower. There is a small museum which has several dragonboat models. Free entrance to the small garden which has seats and tables overlooking the river. In the garden are numerous stone artifacts and of course the pagoda. Sadly the entrance was barred with a padlocked gate.

Best visited with a full moon nearby or on a clear night. Daytime visits to the local area along the riverbanks in either direction are worthwhile. The art district behind with brown Suagar Jar etc is worth a wander.

My friends and I visited the tower today. It was a beautiful area, even though it was small. If you visit the area, make sure to walk
