Visited Window of the World in Shenzhen at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Nice place to visit, monuments from all over the world, some of them pretty accurate, a few not so much. Asia, Africa, Europe areas were the best. America seemed to be lacking in attention, with out of date, inaccurate displays (twin... More

I understand it has more than 120 reproductions of some of the most famous tourist attractions of the world. From Eiffel Tower to Borobudur Temple to Taj Mahal to Merlion and to skyscrapers of New York. You name it, they have it all. As the name suggests, it is a window to the world. Worth a visit if you have... More

By day, walk around the site to see miniatures of well-known landmarks around the globe, the Tower Bridge of London, Taj Mahal, Borobudur Temple of Indonesia, Pisa Tower, etc. You can also climb up the Eiffel Tower and see the surroundings from above... It is the view from my suite, looks very good both day and night. It's basically a miniature landscape park, it's kind of outdated now.

We walked around to find all kinds of replicas of famous buildings around the world, also enjoying a little train ride which is fun for the kids but a bit tight for big hipped ladies if you sit 2 to a seat. Well there is a lot of walking but many places to rest under some beautiful trees. Great photo... More
