This is probably the oldest bridge in China. Nothing much to see in there; nevertheless, it is a historically significant attraction indeed.

It is not the original piece of stone bridge, but an imitated one; Water in the river is not nice; it's good to have a see only together with Bailin temple, for they are close to each other in Zhaoxian county;

I'm giving this five stars as it relates to Shijiazhuang. Obviously, the Zhaozhou Bridge doesn't compare to say, the Great Wall. However, it's historically relevant as the oldest standing bridge in China. The grounds surrounding the bridge are nice, statues, pagodas, trees, etc. Obviously, a...More

Interesting place to visit and well worth a trip if you're staying in Shijiazhuang. We went early to beat the crowds as we were told it is a popular destination to visit.

Really nice ancient stone bridge, but very popular with local tourists so there are quite a lot of people around. Worth a trip if you're already in the Shijiazhuang area.

We visited back in 2007, and made the side trip to see this Bridge, made fairly famous due to its extremely difficult engineering. It was a pleasant drive, and we enjoyed the vendors and people who tended the place. I would return.

Very enjoyable, quiet and peaceful. A nice visit. The bridge is quite simple, but the area walking up to it, along with the sculptures are really beautiful. If going during the summer (like I did) be sure to have sunscreen or an umbrella to block...More
