Small museum but it's still worth going. It gives history lessons about Wuhan city. It'd much less touristy so you can enjoy the entire place at leisure.

Came here following a visit to Yellow Crane Tower. Very interesting exhibition of Ladies of Chinese Dynasties. Loved the porcelain displays - some very interesting and quirky "potties" :-))

Remarkable historic findings from Marquis Yi with his bronze bells and tomb artifacts. Some very impressive bronze, lacquer and jade pieces. The highlight was the wonderful show with the bells and Chinese instruments.

Aug 2016, very nice museum overall that depict the history of Hubei overall as early as the Shang Dynasty! Many many scholars and writers lived here and it's considered one of the most intellectual cities in China.
