Yet another great park dedicated to the founding father of the nation, there are many statues of Dr. Sun ZHong Shan there in the park! You can first and foremost take photos around the garden in which the statues were held. Then you can also walk around the pond in the middle of the park. It's all good

Nice escape from this very busy, noisy city and you do not need to be concerned about cars and motorcycles running you down on the pathways.

In the middle of the city, this park offers some relative peace and quiet. There is a small amusement park/midway, along with rental boats. It is a good place to relax when the Wuhaniness of Wuhan wears you down.

In most of Wuhan you're luck if you see even the smallest green plant struggling for survival in the pollution filled environment that blankets the area and all the plats with a life choking dust. This park at least has a few plants bravely battling the pollution and maybe even plant cancer. The local people help to welcome you to the park by staring at you like you're from mars, and spitting in your direction. There are stone paths all through the park that bear small reminders that a local walked by(Loogies and spit wads).

This is a very beautiful park. Which has something for everyone.
From swan boats to bumper boats to huge inflatables that spin on the water.
Quiet spots with many pagodas and wooded areas with meandering paths.
You will find singers and performs of every type. Then you have couples dancing class's and poetry readings to story tellers.
They have a children's mountain climbing / play area.
They also have ceramic art painting

Then at the very back ,you have an amusement park with no entrance fee. You only pay for the rides you want to go on. (Or just walk around and watch the fun)And of course there are the food sellers of all kinds including cotton candy!
A great park for an hour break, or for a full day of family fun!
But do keep in mind more is available on weekends and on public holidays, then on regular week days.

A nice park in the heart of a city with cordial and friendly people. The park is just beside Zhongshan Park subway station of line 2 Wuhan Metro.

There are numerous rides for children as well as adults to enjoy together some serene moments of pure pleasure far from the unkind world stealing away the joy of it's people with stress of life. It is good to be among the little happy children coming to the park holding the hands of their close ones. Their innocent smiles please the heart.

The park is big with some theme areas. There are people singing songs. So many toys to chose to please the children.

The pricing is very reasonable. There is no entry ticket. The toilets are clean too.

A nice memorable experience. I recommend it to all those who love to be among the children and want to smile seeing their happiness and joy.

If you have limited time,no need to go for a special detour. However,if your travel partners are all busy shopping in the malls on the other side of the park and you hate that, take a little walk in the park while you wait. Might see interesting local life e.g. all kinds of evening activities like dancing, story telling, kungfu, chinese operas etc, but not on a rainy day.
