This is the signature place for the historical city of Wuxi. When we went on a weekday, hardly anyone was around. We had the luxury of an official from the Municipal Government's Foreign Affairs Department to give us a tour. I sure learnt a lot about Chinese history, in particular the Qing Dynasty. The place was huge and we finally... More

This is a superb example of a Chinese garden. It's in immaculate condition with plenty of history here. We had a guide which helped getting the most out of this experience. Therapy don't want to miss this site if in Wuxi.

If you're in XiHui Park, check it out to see it, but otherwise it's not a must-see. It was (apparently) a private garden at one time, but was later opened to the public. If you really like gardens, perhaps you would appreciate it more than me.
