One of the best way to capture the night Scene of Gan River and Light Show over the buildings both sides of the river. On top of that, near by there is a petit fun park for kid. Then you can take slow walk to QiuShui Square (Autumn Water Square)

It is a huge Ferris wheel, the world's tallest until 2008. It moves slowly so there is ample time to see the various parts of Nanchang. It is better to go at night as the city is colorfully lit with light shows, etc. It is a popular spot with the locals and tourists, but the queue is not very long... More

A bit wary having read a couple of dubious reviews, I really shoudn't have worried. Excellent value for money. I went at night and the view was wonderful. Definately recommended.

RMB¥50 for a 30 mintues ride. 4-6 people for every single carriage on this Ferris Wheel. There is no light inside the carriage do please get your own torch handy if you need that.

The most obvious differences between this one and the Singapore flyer and London eye are the very dirty cabins and that it overlooks the relatively dull and often smoggy Nanchang rather than a world-famous city. That said, I wanted to see it enough that I made a detour to Nanchang just to take my kids on it, and am glad... More

The start of Nanchang is one of the largest wheel of fortunes in the world and it is beautiful to see it and to ride in. I visited it during the day and then during the night illuminated and it was even better! It is a most to pass by if you visit Nanchang!

I was really looking forward to riding the world's third tallest Ferris wheel. As a mechanical engineer I find such gigantic machines fascinating. We chose to ride the wheel at night so that we could enjoy the light show. We wish we hadn't ridden the wheel at all! Our car creaked and groaned and shuttered the entire way around. Not... More

We used to live very closeby. At night it's spectacular, many colour lights, shapes and plays. It's also quite big facing the river.

I have been on the star of Nanchang several times and each time is still a thrill. Best time to do it is in the evening when the city lights from across the river and also in HongGuDan are on, its a great way to see the different types of architecture availabe in Nanchang, as Nanchang is still a developing...
