1 May 2016, excellent street to be many souvenirs from Russia are there! It's almost the same as Central Street in Harbin) In Dalian though, it's not as long as Central Street but still welcome Russians) Dalian is an ideal place for Russians to come escape from the cold winters.

We arrived at Russian Street at twilight in January. To be honest the architecture along the street with a couple of rare exceptions didn't strike me as Russian. Looked much tired old villas one would find in the expat compounds in Beijing's north eastern suburbs. The Russian souvenir shops are homogenous and sell dolls, flasks, hats and capes. I at... More

Not worth visiting, seriously. There are a few Russian-style buildings, but none of them is impressive. Other buildings are just ugly. The street is full of small shops selling Russian chocolate and trinkets, but there's no Russian restaurant.

I am happy to see Russian architecture anywhere, especially still standing in China, so I wasn't unhappy I came here. However, everything said in reviews below is correct and you have to be careful what you buy. I did buy a necklace which one shop quoted 60 Yuan and the next sold for 38! The clasp on it broke a... The Russian buildings are in bad shape. I could've been okay with that though. The big disappointment was the fact that the street felt very touristy and not very much Russian. There were vendors and shops all along the street selling various things. The small square at the end of the street was okay though.

Get this off of your list to visit. Waste of time and money. Shops selling russian stuff from beginning to end.

This could be one of those great places to visit, but for some reason, the city leaders thought it would be great to line the streets with vendors. What should have been done, was remodel the the buildings to accoumpany the vnedors and keep the historic look of the street, The vendors make it look so crappy. It's a shame... More

I stayed there for an hour to take a few photos of the Russian-style buildings and products. The goods around for purchase include amber, Russian lady dolls, Russian wooden doll sets, Russian chocolate tablets and other miscellaneous products which are generally not so special or attractive. Despite the name of the street, a few Russian-style buildings, Russian wooden doll sets... More

This is my second time to visit this place, still maintain the same, amazing russian architecture kept, but the function already change to shop, a lot of dried seafood here, the price isn't interesting to bargain, sometime I think impossible like a trap for tourist.
