The pier

A nice walk in the early evening - great views - not overly crowded (March) - great for photos - nice place to look back at the land

Amazing view and I would love to come back because of its fresh air and also historical info inside the pavilion. The beach near by is nice but there Is a bit too much people.

We walked along the Pier. And when we reached the end we had a lock around. After that we went back. For us it was not so interesting. Actually we not went into the house. Too many people waiting in line

It's no different to other piers around the world. Very crowded on the weekend and really a place for a stroll. There's speed boats that take you out to an "island" but a few of them looked in very poor condition and maybe safety concerns?

The Zhanqiao pier is of course famous as the logo of the Tsingtao beer brand. It's a nice stroll down the pier in summer but always extremely crowded on a half decent day and not much to see once you've reached the end. For best views I recommend going to little qingdao island further in the bay...

Nice place to visit. Best thing when you Feeding the seagulls and watch the museum in the end that will be help you to look at the history of the zhan qiao Bridge.

nice place to visit as long as you are not crowd-crazy. Because I guarantee a crowd all 4 seasons. Vendors are nice, near Cathedral and old-town German. Fun to watch the Chinese tourist crazies in action.

I didn't go into the building at the end of the pier, which perhaps costs money), but I did walk around outside and took some shots. Add this to your must-see list if you're into taking photos. There were some Chinese Navy ships in port that you could see in the distance.

Extremely popular place to walk at weekends this quaint pier was very busy. A little dated were the numerous photo booths offering to take group photos whist we were surrounded by a sea of mobile phones. If its cool do take a coat. Nice to take in as part of a walk along the Marina too.

This must be the top attraction in Qingdao, as despite being off peak, the pier was still crowded with many tourists, eager to photograph every different vantage points of the Hui Lan Ge pavilion. Don't let the crowd deter you, one would still marvel at its build and beauty from a distance.
