Went to look at Tai Koo Li shops and was surprised to discover this temple nearby. Some interesting buildings and has a tea house.

We arrived while they were playing some truly calming music with the encent smell it calmed us automatically. Beautiful temple but we had a really hard time finding it. Well hidden behind Tai Koo Li shopping area.

It is in the middle of Taikoo Li, a place to shooping. It's not very big and I don't think there is anything special about it. Free entrance. 30 minutes visit. You can eat inside.

Popped in here when I had had enough of the international brands in Taikoo Li (and Niccolo Hotel/IFS across the road). Was lucky that there was a service (?) taking place. Even though it was busy it was still peaceful. Lovely place to escape to. But not an attraction really - still very much a place of worship, despite what... More

I was extremely lucky in that the Harvest Moon festival was being celebrated while I was in Chengdu. There were ceremonies and flowers and colored balloons, and happy families, all over the temple. I was welcomed as a guest and made to feel at home just wandering around the property. Beautiful!

You don't need to stop here but if you are close then sure. There is a Prada next door but it still is a welcome calm from the downtown storm. The tea shop is worth the stop as the locals are all in there chilling with the tea

Just located at the corner of Taikoo Li shopping complex. A few hundred year old building is worth to see. Many local people go there for worship or spend sometimes here to have a cup of tea.

Doesn't need a large allocation of time, took us about 40mins to wander around the Daci Temple area. Was handy to shopping area.

Taikoo Li is an impressive, modern shopping complex and right in the center of it all, you will find; Daci Temple. How peculiar you might think, but somehow it works. When you had enough of all the hustle around you, and trust me there's a lot of hustle around Chunxi Road, you can just freely walk into this temple and... More

Chengdu has landed a luxury shopping district ontop of the temple, saw restaurant in the old living quarters and an underground carpark under the temple itself. Being renovated atbthe minute but seems will become part of the shopping experience. Depends on what you are looking for.
