We had a wonderful day in Chengdu this past month while in China! We booked a day trip with "Jay" and he was as kind and knowledgeable as you could ask for. Jay and his driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the panda sanctuary early in the morning. Jay entertained us for the 90 minute... More

Lovely place, had a great time and please do come early, there are a lot of people lining up, which makes it not attractive anymore.

This place is phenomenal. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and the pandas have tons of room in the park. We got there earlier around 930 so it wasn't super busy yet. We took our time looking at all the pandas and watching the babies play. They also have a section where there's a lake filled with carp and black... More

Great viewing of the Giant Pandas and the baby pandas. It is a "zoo" setting but very well done with lots of different habitats.

Zes, you can see pandas, but keep in mind that thousands of Chinese are being pushed through this park. Probably still a great zoo, one of the better ones in China, but terribly busy.

We visited the park in the morning during feeding time and saw plenty out pandas coming out to play! Red pandas also walk freely amongst the tourist. Interesting experience indeed! The location is also easy to get to by local bus, as long as you have a map.

This tour site is a must to visit when you are in Chengdu. It is the site that defines Chengdu and China. The pandas are very cute. The must visit station will be a special indoor area with glass panels to view the baby pandas. They are so adorable that it is difficult not to like them. There are also... More

Hotel porter recommended visiting first thing when Pandas most active and also to avoid crowds. Arrived 8.15am and no queue to get in or to see the Panda. Saw many Panda (including youngsters) out eating, climbing and playing and encountered very little people. The Panda are beautiful, amazing and very interesting but it was also lovely to spend the morning... More

Too good, we liked it. The facility has been maintained very well. The guide and help from the guide was great. The guide had a good command over the English and explained everything well

Travelling to Tibet, we paid for a side trip to Chengdu especially to visit the Giant Pandas. Were not disappointed, saw them in natural surrounds, and six little babies! Also great to see the Red Pandas, beautiful little animals and peacocks. We visited in afternoon, which is less crowded.
