Nice place to visit. Facilities are ok and the gardens are nice. Unfortunately too many drivers are allowed and there is no control inside of the speed limit, so you have to watch out sometimes while walking around. Modern instalations and nice theater. Also, they have good options for eating and a Starbucks. It is hard to find a taxi... More

In China it is so rare to see so much grass that you can actually walk on. Go and luxuriate in the grass. This campus feels like a small piece of England stuck in a sea of China. English is widely spoken, even by the security guards!

This is a small managable-size campus. Good fir a walk around with a good variety of places to drink or eat these days. It is not too compact but pleasant to visit.

Being an alumni here was a great experience. Decided to do Masters degree and with little knowledge of China and not being able to read Chinese characters, I packed up my bag and got on a plane to Nottingham Ningbo in 2009. Fast forward a few years now this campus has grown in size and student base and...still as beautiful... More

The campus is very nice, green, and clean. I'm not sure how interesting it is to go without any specific purpose, but if you do, you should try Yummy Restaurant (order 水果鼓锣肉 - chicken in sweet and sour sauce).

I don't go there or teach there, but know some professors there, and my kids are friends with their kids, so we go there once in a while. Being a foreigner, you wont have any issue going through the gate, either walking or riding bike or scooter. The grounds are nice to walk or ride around, and much safer than... More

We live near the University and we like to visit when the weather is nice. The campus is very pretty, but I wouldn't really consider it as a trip or something fun to do in Ningbo. However, it is a nice break from town.

Stayed here whilst on a summer school at the campus. The students and academic staff are great people. There is a good range of shops with a Chinese feel. It is a contrast to the UK Nottingham campus! But still very similar and beautiful. Definitely worth a visit! I loved my time here and would love to return if given... More

Love this place a lot! Awesome people all round this campus and they're very friendly except the sellers in some shops.

This university is one of the strangest. Being both Chinese and British, there is a contrast of identity. Walking around, the university feels British. Go to the shops and it feels Chinese. Other than that, there are often lots of events going on at the university, and if you catch one of these, this is a great place to spend... More
