It's supposed to be one of the most famous islets of China. That sets the bar quite high. Too high maybe. Never the Nevertheless I enjoyed the visit for it is a place to be among Chinese while at the same time it's a nice and green place. Nog cars, which is also a big plus.

We went to the island on the first day of the Spring Festival. In comparison to the city centre, the place virtually assaults you by its quietude and absence of crowds. We paid 30 yuan per person in total for a ferry ride, back and forth, and visiting the island itself. Was it worth it? Truth be told, not really.... More

Learnt so much about this place in one day. A must on any itinerary to the region regardless if you have to take a 3 hour train ride to get there. Be prepared for a long day of walking, but the scenery and vistas are Devine.

Wenzhou is very proud of this pretty and pastoral island. They say people haven't visited Wenzhou if they have not gone to Jiangxin. When we were there multiple groups of local school kids were touring about with their teachers. It's a cool place to stroll around and relax. No cars, clean and green.

This is an oasis...a short boat ride to the island and suddenly everything is calm, peaceful and serene. If you are stressed this is a must place to visit and spend a evening strolling past light house towers, temples, old houses, lake and lots and lots of greenery.

I used to go there every summer when I return to Wenzhou visit my family. The place is quite far from cars and pollutions. Great way to kill an afternoon if you happen to pass by the city.

As I'm not an expert in Chinese culture, I couldn't enjoy totally the experience, but I recognice good things and this is one. Beautiful island to walk and be one with nature and peace. When I walked there, some locals were playing traditional Chinese music in a small place, and they welcomed us to listen. Very peaceful place.

It's a cute place and great for a picnic. There are little boats you can rent on a little lake that is very fun, especially for kids. If you take a bus to the ferry, the ferry takes less than 5 minutes to cross to the island. I recommend you bring your own food and snacks because the stuff on... More

Just nearly half an hour by boat and you will reach the island. It's small and made up pagodas and plenty of trees and small kiosk. Make pictures by the bridges!
