Within a short walk I found myself at the city zoo. Good value with plenty of shade trees and an easy walk to see the exhibits. Many local animals that I have never seen before with many locals also enjoying the sights. Visit early morning...More

Good zoo but for sure needs to expand the facilities. Way too small of space for the elephants and the ostrich. Spend 2 hrs and price seem reasonable bring your cédula and it will be cheaper.

The lion and the elephant are in such small enclosures. The puma too. Some unique animals endemic to Colombia. I hate to say that there is an advantage to such small cages. Young kids can easily walk around the whole zoo in the heat.

My in laws live 3 blocks from the zoo. We enjoy taking the nephews there it can be seen in 1 - 2 hours for easy stroll. Most animal displays are good. When the heat is high sometimes it is difficult to see the animals....More

It's small but has interesting animals. They sell nice empanadas in the back of the zoo. Make sure to apply mosquito repellent because it's ideal that you will get bit.

The zoo is small, not too big but it has a lot animal to see between birds , monkeys, lions , tigers, snakes. It takes around 2 hours to see everything , and only Spanish information, nothing available in English.

There are two postings here for the same place. This is the official name of the zoo. Good place to see, I have additional comments under the other posting.

The zoo is in the city, and relatively small. But do not let that deter you because it is a good zoo with well-done habitats for the animals and many to see.

This small zoo is home to an elephant, tiger and zebra among many other animals but left me feeling sad. The majority of animals are alone and seem very sad and some borderline crazy. They are not mal-treated, the keepers can be seen feeding the...More
