This was our Valentine's activity, and boy we had fun! Don't come here thinking that you're gonna get hammered with the "open bar". They provide small bottles of rum and coke and you have to share it with your row. Music is loud, so if you have sensory issues, this is not for you. I like that they took us... More

We hired this bus to take our wedding party around town and this is how it played out. First stop in front of castle for about 15 minutes where we got off and did......nothing. There was nothing there but one arepa vender and one vender selling drinks. Next stop the old jail where we got off and did....nothing. for thirty... More

It was ok but I recommend to do it if you are in large groups... it is not as fun as I was expecting and the music can be way better

The pros - On any given evening dozens of these party buses circulate around the city with live bands on board and the cheap rum flowing freely. When passing another party bus a contest ensues to see which group of revelers can generate the most insane amount of noise. Extra points are awarded if your group is standing on the... More

Hop on aboard the party bus! Vendors will come by a sell you a percussion instrument, hat, liquor or water and the rest is up to you! Enjoy!

We knew it was very touristic, we would be condemned to the hotel picking up people marathon, etc., but took the 'trip' with Opitours anyway with the expectation that the music and the traditional side would compensate all the setbacks and disadvantages. But the the drinks offered were of low quality, the music (let's say, in 10 minutes, people were... More

We did this tour during the day, not the night party bus version. It took a while because even though the bus was 50% full, we proceeded to drive around Bocagrande and other areas trying to pick up more passengers until we were filled to the brim. We then went to a few different places for sightseeing. Overall, I probably... More

I have seen the Chiva buses on past visits but this was my first Chiva bus adventure. The booze was plentiful, the music loud and our friends made it a memorable experience. This was not a historic tour..... It was a party bus. We sang, drank, danced and partied through the city in Chiva style. Not for everyone, but if... More

Great tour in a colorful open wooden bus. Got picked up and dropped off at the Hilton. Tour was about 3.5 hours. Terrific bilingual guide. Bus took us to San Felipe Fort, monastery at La Popa, the Emerald Museum, the giant boots, La Boveda (bathroom stop) which has lovely little artisan shops. Entry fees were included. Tour started around 2... More
