You must go here when visiting Cartagena. It's the highest point in the city and the architecture is quite beautiful. A great afternoon trip through a truly humbling part of the city.

If you have the time, then the views from La Popa are worth checking out, but I'm not sure it's worth the trek if your time is precious. I opted to walk from the Old Town, which I was told would take about an hour....More

We came here on a tour. It has a beautiful courtyard and was really beautiful to walk through. If you go to the walled city this is an absolute must.

Great view of Cartagena and a beautiful church as well. I found interesting all the historical items with their history explained; as well as the wide collection of foreign bills.

The convent is at the top of a hill, offering phenomenal views of the city, from several directions. The history is quite interesting. Definitely go with a guide. The drive up there is on windy roads. It's a "don't miss" excursion.

The Convento opens at 8:30 and if you are one of the first people there before cruise ship tour groups arrive, you basically have the place to yourself. A taxi up to site, waiting up to an hour for your visit and a return trip...More

Tou can get a guided tour of the convent as well as one of Forte Felipe for the same price as a taxi ride up and down again. The view of Cartagena was breathtaking from this convent which was in front of the hill. Inside...More

Small room but it is a work of art. It wasn't busy when we went so you can take your time to view. Its quite ornate but much smaller than ose in european locations.

Hello Mr Daniel, yes it is possible to visit the sight without having to pay. However, the entrance is not the best place for the panoramic view because of how the landscape is shaped, street vendors, and foliage... I... More
