We went from getsamini to the islands. It took around an hour by boat. We passed some beautiful sights and five minutes before they showed us where to scoober dive. The waters was crystal clear, to me it felt like something off a movie. There were a couple of party yachts with loud music, not sure if that is a... More

I went on a day trip to the islands. Went snorkling in the morning and while we were headed to the snorkling spot so.e dolphins were swimming next to us!! That was a great moment. Snorkling was nice. The beaches we visited after were relaxed but don't expect to much comfort as in lying chairs or such. Bring a large... More

For the time cost and efforts to get to Islas Rosarios, it's just not worth it. Of course all the travel agencies sell you on it because let's face it, Cartagena is on the Caribbean but lacks the Caribbean beaches. So the travel agents hawk you to take a long boat/ferry ride to Islas Rosarios where they will give you... More

it is an adventure, taking the ferry even paying the faire is quiet interesting. In the boots the offer you several packages with different prices and many ways to go. please, please do not choose the most expensive one try the boat one, even though is slower than the other small boats is more secure and more opportunity to see... The staff and crew are excellent. I wish they had offered authentic food for lunch instead of soggy sandwiches. Not even any chips. The snorkeling was OK but they took us to 2 spots that were very similar. We expected more diverse types of coral and fish.

Long boat ride which I actually liked. Beach is beautiful but getting on and off the boat can be an issue if you have bad knees, which I do. The workers were great and helped but I still worried about it. We were able to rent an umbrella and chairs on the beach to relax. Lunch was ok. The fish... More

We took a 40 minute jet boat ride from just outside the walled city to the beautiful Gente De Mar island. The beach had white sand and aqua blue water. The perfect beach day escape when vacationing or visiting Cartagena. Lunch was served hot and fresh(choice of fish or grilled chicken with coconut rice, plantain, soup and salad). The staff were... Shop around as there are 3 basic plans-- Speed boat, speed cruiser and old ship (Alcatraz) Alcatraz is long 2 hours to aquarium - 1 hour to beach--1 hour on beach and 1 hour back at 5:30 pm Lunch is fried whole fish or chicken with little meat, coco rice and slaw. It was loud with silly entertainment that the... More
