Came here on a cruise ship with low expectations but were pleasantly surprised. Had to get through the swarm of taxi drivers wanting to drive us in to the city from the port, finally finding one whose price was half of original quote from others....More

Do not miss the history in Cartagena, Take the HOHO and see both the New and Old City. The HOHO provides a walking tour that is outstanding.

You must take a walk early in the morning as it really gets incredibly hot. You will be surprise by the quality of street food all along the wall, really tasty.

A must see, if someone likes History and past events that happened, that shape the culture and personality of a city and a country. At this location someone would be able to see the Port area of Cartagena and some of the city

We stayed in an Airbnb apartment in the walled city. Love the architecture and the vibe in this town. Sure it's a tourist attraction, but a lovely one.

Visited as part of a cruise ship tour. Beautiful city and interesting history. Architecture was particularly interesting.

The entire city was extremely clean. The day was hot but the carriage ride was still enjoyable. The sites were exceptional. The shopping was a little expensive. The emerald and silver sets were very expensive. The tour was nice and the city very enjoyable.

Really enjoyed Cartagena. The walled city is such a neat place with very old architecture, lots of fun shops and cafes. We felt very safe and look forward to visiting again!
