Plaza Botero has plenty of Botero sculptures all over the plaza. It's also great for people watching both tourists and locals. Lots of fruit and juice stands all over the place , you do have to be aware with street peddlers.

The reality and the past are together in this park. The Maestro Botero have made the most sutil expressions of art for all publics. I recommend this place. Only take 10 mins.

Botero's sculptures are whimsical and fantastic, in every sense of the word. The museum on the plaza is also a must see!

Plaza Botero has a rich history that contrasts it's controversial present. The beauty of the art, museums and churches are juxtaposed by the vendors and peddlers that fill the area. Plaza Botero boasts some of the best local snacks. There is also a free movie...More

Beautiful experience- certainly worth more than a passing through. The Botero pieces alone are worth the visit but seeing them in their real-life context is priceless

I was skeptical at first. But, hey, things change. I saw the way I was seeing things to be different too. That was all from seeing Botero's artwork.

It's a must to visit in Medellin in order to see Botero's art. However if you are in the Plaza is better to visit the Botero's Museum located just in front of the Plaza. The four stars is because of the location. It's not the...More

Modern Art right in the city centre - these obscenely obese figures are very funny and will appeal ( in some obscure way ) to everyone

Botero is revered in Colombia and he ain't even close to dead. You got to respect that. It's a great place to visits. Nice architecture surrounding it. Watch you wallet. Don't stray North of hotel Nutibara.

Free park, you can climb each statue. You will see more Botero than at the Botero Museum in Bogota:) Lots of fruit stands all around in case kids get hungry.
