Wonderful views of north Medellin.

We took the metro up to Acevado Station, walked upstairs to Line K's aerial line, and joined the queue to enter the very slow moving clean/vented gondolas. The door closes and soon the car engages with the overhead cable and away you go upward. We passed through 2 stations where other passengers got on and off, then exited at Santo... More

The metrocable takes you up the hill to places you would never go as a tourist because it's where the poor live. You're on the 8 person car with the people who live there, and being able to see how nice everybody is reminds you that money is not everything. Just stay on the car to the top, don't get... More

Great experience, cheap activity and definitely worth doing if you are staying in Medellin. It's very easy, but just in case, here's what we did to go all the way to Arvi Park: We stayed in a hostel close to the metro stop Aguacatala. When we got on the metro we bought a metro card ticket with enough for 4... More

We are staying in the Poblado area, and we simply walked to the Poblado Metro station and bought a ticket (2000 COP) on A line (Niquea). We disembarked at Estación Acevedo, and took the K line. (There's no more charge as far as Estación Santo Domingo.) The we took the line up to Parque Arvi (5200 COP). The view along... More

If you're in Medellin make sure you take a ride on the metro cable. It offers amazing views of the city and takes you to Parque Arvi, a nature park.

The metrocable gives you amazing views of the city and is very convenient, but I would suggest not going if you are scared of heights

Apart of the Medellin Metro. Super cool way to see and visit Medellin without having to climb hills or deal with traffic.

Go early!!! Cannot stress this enough. I went first thing in the morning (~9 AM) and was able to hop on without much of a line and enjoyed a cable car practically to myself on the way back down. LOVED the views of Medellin and getting to share cars with locals. But on the way back, the lines were INSANE—would... More

Actually part of the metro system. The one ticket gets you a ride on the metro and a not to missed view of the city.

As part of the metro network it was fun to see a bit more of the city. It is easy to get on and off.
