Taking the metro cable is a fantastic idea when you want to have a glimpse of Medellin city, it's beautiful mountains,the variety of greens and beautiful blue sky. It is very clean too.

The taxi rates from the Jose Maria Cordova airport in Rio Negro (MDE, the international airport) are fixed and posted by the exit. Cost us 65,000 COP (approx $22 US) and is about a 45 min ride.
