Nice museum with a good variety of artists represented. Heavy amount of Botero paintings. Plaza outside is free. Restaurant was nice.

Here you will find in a very conserved building in the very center of the city, largest Botero's collection outside and inside the building as well as a vast collection of paintings which is worth a visit as well as the enviroment.

In addition to the massive collection of Botero's work -- and this alone is reason enough to go -- this museum has an amazing offering of international modern art with a (surprisingly?) vast array of Colombian work. This is an absolute must-see for any art lover.

We lucked out and visited while there were several interesting exhibits on display. It proved to be one of the better museums of our entire trip to Columbia. I can understand why some reviewers were disappointed since the permanent collection isn't "amazing". If you love art or have ticked off just about everything else then give it a shot. The... More

This was an okay museum, I had high expectations based on the reviews that I read on here. But I'd say the museum was okay, the Botero paintings were great, but the actual premises were a bit run down and the restrooms in the museum were filthy and very small. There was a little cafe inside but it didn't have... More

Great place to see more of Fernando Botero's Art and story, as well other Colombian artists Also the architecture of the building is Art Decó, so you see how nice it is. For those who enjoy, it's really cool to see how everything has such style, even the door knobs.

For the price, you can see a lot of South American and other artist's work here. The collection of Fernando Botero's work here is remarkable!
