Very nice museum and worth the price of admission . If you like Botero you will love this museum! He is an astounding and humorous artist with an eye like no other . Nice additional classical and historical Colombian art and sculpture. Some exhibits were closed but I could have spent hours with Mr Botero a true Colombia legend .

The botero exhibit upstairs is large and impressive, but they have a very beautiful hall of other Colombian artists that shouldn't be missed. The temp exhibit right now is Gray Zones, you could spend an hour there on its own.

Im not a big art museum fan, especially the impressionist and abstract stuff. That is why this was such a great visit! The Botero art is in a league of its own, but the other exhibits and unique Colombian art was one of the highlights of our trip. Be sure to check out the exhibit with the relics enshrined in... I was hoping for more history, but this museum mostly just houses art. The art is impressive though.

We really liked the museum, especially as we'd been disappointed by some others. It mainly features the works of Botero with those of a few others. We spent a little over an hour there but you could spend longer. Entry fee is 18,000 COP each or 9,000 COP if you're over 60 and can prove it. To get there just... More

If you love art it is a must see. Voters work is there and is absolutely amazing. His work has an entire floor. There is also work by dozens of other Colombians. We spent two hours here roaming through beautiful works.

This is a great museum specially for Botero sculptures and paintings it is worth the visit! Also look for HORIZONTES famous old canvas painting from 1930.

The Museo is a bit confusing to navigate, with hallways and galleries that wrap around two courtyards, but it is worth poking into all the corners for some hidden gems. The Botero exhibit on the 3rd floor is the main draw, but the current exhibits (Nov 2016) on modern art and ceramics were also wonderful. I was less enthused about... More

The best tip we got from the friendly staff was; start on the 3rd floor and walk down. This enabled us to see the best they had first, not really a botero fan so skimmed through his art, what did impress me was the permanent collection on left on 3rd floor. loads of top pieces botero collected and then donated....
