Not again!
Jun 2021
Its like ground hog day every summer. Almost exactly the same line up year after year. Not sure if they have figured it out yet, but the 90s are over and Bruce is over 70. A flat parking lot if not ideal for an outdoor venue. Figure it out or sell it to someone who can put together a real summer music venue.

Historic but falling apart
Nov 2019 • Business
Used to love this venue. Played many shows here and went to many concerts. The events here just aren’t the same now. Promoters can’t get good shows together (Talking about before COVID obviously) and the artists on them aren’t as significant. Very average venue now.

The history of rock
Aug 2020
I stopped by the Stone Pony in August 2020. I enjoyed reading about the history of the place and how many famous rock stars and groups played here including Bruce Springsteen. The Stone Pony is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic but it is still worth stopping here to take a photo and read about the history.

Rock and Roll forever
Jan 2020
The stone pony is a musical iconic venue. You can smell the ocean from the front door and feel the vibe of music for a generation. The walls are lined with signed guitars and drum heads from various famous musicians. There are several bars and a taco bar food stand. There is a smoking room with chairs and tables. The floor is concrete. The staff is welcoming and depending on the band the vibe is sweet. It is truly a place to visit and see and hear artists from all over with various styles of music.WE were fortunate to hear D.J. Williams and Glove while visiting.

All the Greats have played here

Had to see the legendary Stone Pony while in the area! Even though the bar was closed, Dawn at the ticket booth was extremely gracious allowing us to look around, snap some pics, and purchase s few tee shirts! The place was great, the pics scattered throughout were marvelous, and the guitars signed by the greats are priceless! Thanks Dawn for your hospitality and for dining recommendations in the area!

Great time
May 2019
Back in May my wife & I stayed at a bed & Breakfast in Ocean Grove, NJ. With just a short walk up the boardwalk, we were able to see the concert at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. The whole area was packed with people wherever they could get a good spot, including tailgaters because the concert was outdoors. It was just amazing to hear of all the well known singers that played at the Stone Pony. My wife & I got a little tour inside to see all the well known singers’ guitars on display on the walls, including Bruce Springsteen. It was really an awesome experience to see all the guitars of all the well known singer & song writers.

Fun Last Minute Visit
Aug 2019
We had gone to Long Branch for lunch at Rooneys. The meal was great but we had more time than we thought. So we traveled down the road to Asbury Park. While visiting we realized that the Stone Pony was there. We were unsure if it was open. As luck would have it, it was open. It was amazing walking into that place. All of the musical history that took place there was awe inspiring to us. We of course bought the shirts and went on our way. Fun place if you are into musical history.

A Place To Remember
Sep 2019
Went to the Stone Pony on Sat Sept 7th to see Jake Clemons. The night was one my husband and I will never forget. The iconic club is just filled with history. Going in the doors you just get a sense of what this venue really is. We sat at the bar and experienced true talent. Jake Clemons owned the night and lit up the room. We went expecting a fun and enjoyable night. What we got was so much more than that It is hard to express the connection Jake Clemons made in the Stone Pony that night. We are just thankful that we experienced that time at the Stone Pony.
