Rented a taxi to get to El Junco, La Galapaguerra, and the playa chino at the price of $45 for about 4-5 hours trip. El Junco is beautiful laguna, and easy hike around the laguna for about 40 minutes. Worth a visit!

Worth the trek up to the lagoon. Lot of steps but easy walking and around the lagoon the ground is firm and easy to walk on too, mostly level. Weather can change quickly so be prepared for mist and drizzle. Allow about an hour for...More

El Junco requires a steep uphill climb of about 15 minutes to reach. The trail is rocky but good. It's higher in elevation so it's nice and cool. The lake is misty and lovely, with frigate birds bathing or flying around. No swimming allowed, but...More

Well worth the trek up the path to view the crater and the view over the Island. The Frigate birds coming in for a wash and a drink was nice to see.
