It is really too bad that most tours to Abu Simbel start from Aswan at an extremely early time of day (usually before dawn), drive by bus to Abu Simbel, show their clients the two wonderful temples there, then return to Aswan in the afternoon, if not earlier. It is rare for most tourists even to have the opportunity to... More

This show was an option on our tour and we are glad to have attended. Very well put together, telling a story while projecting scenes across the two temples.

We are not big fans of light shows as we've seen others in Egypt over a few years but decided to go after reading previous reviews. So glad we went. It starts slow then builds and builds. Easily the best light show we've seen in the Middle East. The imaginative and clever lighting effects keep you glued to the 40-minute... More

Ridiculously corny script. But the lighting at night makes it all worthwhile. Tip: Don't leave right after the show because the lights are left on the temples for a good 10 to 15 minutes after the show ends. Safe at night to walk back into town.

Really pleased that we stayed down at the Eskaleh Ecolodge walked upto come and see this spectacular show. We had seen the Temples in daylight and now the Sound & Light Show - good value and enjoyable. Make sure that you check the start times as these vary

If you have a chance to stay over and see the sound and light show in Abu Simbel you won't be disappointed. We stayed at the SETI Hotel, and yes, it's pricey, but the grounds are beautiful. We hope to return with friends and stay a few days to enjoy the pool and location. There were less than twelve guests... More

Our trip was superbly organized by Brigitte Crumpler with Audley Travels and was a huge success. It exceeded our expectations so much. We asked our tour guide to add the sound and light since we had a bit of time on the first day and Fady El Mallach organized the extra outing. Excellent show with the magnificent voice of loved... The light show give a nice historical overview of King Ramses. It lasts about 30 minutes. Its a bit "dramatic", but the lights on the temples are beautiful.

It was just cool to be at Abu Simbel at night. The show with narration was interesting but I thought it would be more colorful. Even more amazing, the vendors were still open for business when we were leaving the premises.
