I was delighted shopping for produce at this market! We enjoyed ourselves... Probably mostly cos of the novelty... A little bit cos we finally found decent food (supermarkets had been disappointing!) we felt it was good value and spoilt for choice. Fresh guavas are amazing!

We stopped there and went ashore only to find it was a small place. It was a nice little walk thru town, saw the market, and just looked around. Had a good time just relaxing on this island.

Made a stop in Lautoka on a South Pacific cruise. Took a walk through the market. Typical produce available and prices listed in Fiji dollars, which is a 2 to 1 US Dollar ratio so $5 Fiji Dollars = $2.50 USD.

A mish mash of craft and fruit. The whole market smelled of fruit and rubbish much like the entire city centre. Some lovely people selling their wares but we didnt buy anything here. A real shame but there isn't a lot of option in newer...More

We stopped here because the bus from the cruise had its stop right out the front. It looks like a new centre with two stories the bottom with supermarket, hairdresser and a landmark Tennent. The centre had air con and was clean and easy to...More

Although the fresh produce looked amazing, I was only shopping for souvenirs. There was parking next door (up a ramp) for small fee. Never pay the first price - they will always lower the price. It was a really hot day and i asked how...More

The market is a great experience! The people are very friendly and wanting to tell you all about their fruits and culture. The fruit was fresh and tasty and very well priced!

I saw streetside hawkers selling mangoes in Suva in January, so I suppose they would be in season then along with the standard bananas and pineapples. Litchis were plentiful in the Vila market and I expect they would thrive... More

Not at this one, but I think there's a flower market every Saturday at Shirley Park.
