I love the ranch. My family loves the ranch. My friends love the ranch. I have met lifelong friends here who I visit around the country and world, and the people I've met and spent time with here are the number one reason I love it. Ghost Ranch is NOT a spa, not a hotel, not five stars. But you... More

We were lucky to have a private room with bath on the upper mesa when there was nobody else up on the mesa. The room was comfortably basic with standard hotel room amenities. Bedding kept us warm; lots of hot water in the shower. We had a sitting room that looked over the valley and on to Georgia O'Keefe's Pedernal... More

While the accommodations are rustic, the scenery and grounds are simply breathtaking. I hiked the Chimney Rock Trail and it is not for the faint of heart, but well worth the extra effort to make it to the top. If taking photos, it will take you longer than 2 hours so it's better to start early and bring water and... More

The Presbyterian Church runs the Ghost Ranch. For a mere $5, you have access to glorious hiking trails, you may go to the library, Ghost ranch house, Agape chapel, and 2 museums. The chimney rock hike was fun and scenic. Lots of good info and artifacts in the museums. Beautiful drive from Santa Fe to Abiquiu.

We drove out to the ranch because of our interest in O'Keeffe. There were no tours dealing with the artist on the day we were there. Because our time in the area was very limited we did not take advantage of the dinosaur museum or any of the hiking. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and that made our quick visit... More

The landscape here is amazing--you can see why O'Keefe painted how she did. There are a few hiking trails and also the option of horse and movie tours. We did the Chimney Rock trail, which is mostly open, so good for larger groups. The overlook is exposed and has great views. There is also a labyrinth and Zen garden on... More

I've been wanting to come here since I saw the Geogia O'Keeffe film about 7-8 years ago. The location is beautiful, there are many hikes you can take, and two museums you can visit. We visited in winter and were the only people in the museums. They charge $5 for adults, kids are free. Definitely worth it! We are homeschoolers... More
