I wasn't sure I would like being up close and personal with rays and black tipped sharks, but I was so glad I tried it! Our guide, Siki, was so knowledgeable and especially entertaining for the 6 hour boat trip and picnic. A perfect way to enjoy a day in Polynesia. We purchased a video (rather expensive),and are glad we... More

Great way to experience Polynesian marine life up close and personal. Clear blue waters in a protected lagoon with moving tide waters that allow you to float almost effortlessly while observing rays, exotic fish and yes some sharks. Can get a little crowded but still enjoyable and worth the time and money.

this place was beautiful, the sea is so clear and the fish although only one species is colourful are in abundance. The stingrays come over to the guide and stay around you for the whole time you are in the water.

Everything. Siki the Guide was so amazing, funny, passionate, kind, sensitive, and caring. All the staff were just so incredible, swimming with the sting-rays and sharks was a dream come true, the picnic was wonderful and the whole day a fantastic experience. Well worth every cent.

The guided motu picnics on Moorea are fun and service was excellent. The guide lines in the water for snorkeling are excellent to view all the sea life. There are plenty of sharks and rays to be seen. There is a stop at an island where they have a great barbecue and drinks for everyone.

This tour is offered by Hiro's Tours, where I posted an identical review. I would have changed a lot about this tour, but it was still a good experience. For starters, Hiro Himself was riding with shuttles on Tahiti to advertise his business. He made a joke that he was #1 on TripAdvisor because he asked customers to give him... More

If you travel to Moorea in French Polynesia, one thing you must experience is the MOTU PICNIC. There are several companies that will provide this motu picnic experience and I highly recommend enjoying this. You will start around 9 AM and end in the mid afternoon time. 3 to 3:30 PM . You will get in the water with rays, touch... More

We were skeptical about taking a 6 hour ray & shark feeding tour and motu picnic but since we had nothing planned for that day we did it since the price was fair. When we reached the rays and the sharks it was so much better than I first expected. The rays are everywhere and they are very friendly. It... More

The Liki Tiki Lagoon Tour is a tour provided by Hiro's Tours. Hiro arranges for a van service to pick up all of its attendees and drops them off at the Moorea Pearl Resort. Our boat captain, Bruno, met us at the pool at the Pearl and started our adventure. Bruno drives the boat from the Pearl all the way... More

We were in Moorea for one week in October 2006. Hiro's Liki Tiki Motu picnic was the first thing we tried. It was everything advertised and more. When Hiro fed the sharks, we swam on one side of a rope extending out from the boat and the sharks were fed on the other side of the rope. Seeing them a... More
