History Buffs Trails to Ross Island (3 Hours Guided Walking Tour)

1 review
Explore the historical trails of a city and experience secrets in its kitty in the beautiful Ross Island. Enjoy the company of tall trees and beautiful landscapes with this walk.

1. We will explore the history buffs destination which was a settlement for the colonials during British Rule and scorch through the ruins, power house, printing press building that was covered in the roots of Peepal trees and many more sights with very interesting stories during this walking experience.
2. We follow a unique style of ‘infotainment’ to ensure that you enjoy the tour and don't get bored, irrespective of whether you love history or not.

This place reminds us of how much sacrifice our ancestors gave for the freedom that we enjoy today. The light and sound show was very good and the museums are also nice.

A must visit monument. Go twice- once during the day for a quick walk through the museum room after which you hire a guide(available onsite) to take you through the monument. Later come back for the sound and light show. These tickets need to be booked beforehand . The show is full. Also you need to figure whether you want the English/ Hindi show as they are available on certain days of the week. We had booked our car through Gopal( +919531918600) and he had organized the sound & light show tickets for us.In fact he organized the car for us throughout the Andaman trip. Visiting the Cellular Jail is an amazing experience and one had only learnt about it at school.

On 4th april2021 we were at port blair staying at Lemon tree resort in the evening we had this show organized at Cellular jail.it started around 6 in the evening and lasted for one & half hour. It's known as The light & sound show at Cellular jail.its all about the freedom of the people & how they all freedom fighters fought & never gave up. Finally the britishers who were ruling gave Up & set the island free. It's the stories of 1800.s on the side of the jail were oldies monuments like how they were punished. What they use to were. How they use to treat badly by punishing to death. The light & sound show makes it look more real & full of emotion.
