This palace was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderbad. The Nizam and his family lived in this palace which is mostly persian style palace spread across nearly 12 acres of land. The palace is good and there's a museum within it which is excellent. What we lived very much was the Rolls Royce collection and the Royal Dresses... More

This palace is located in the old city part of Hyderabad city. It was built in the 19th Century and was the residence of the Nizams who ruled Hyderabad. The palace is still privately owned by the heir of the Nizam. Spread across a large area, the palace speaks of the grandeur and royal life style of the Nizams. The... More

Very well maintained. Sadly again rather irritated with the large difference in entrance fees for foreigners. The place is well kept and the different exhibition of the history of the royal family was impressive. The compound is well kept. Worth a visit.

History and Granduer,, a stones throw from the Charminar! The vintage car collection is a real highlight as are the cutlery and weapons displayed. Great place to spend about 4 hours. In the heart of the old city of Hyderabad but an oasis of calmness and tranquility.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Lovely gardens and architecture. The interior of the chowmahalla palace, where the 8th Nizam was crowned, is stunning. There is also an art gallery there and a marvellous collection of crockery. The smaller palace, behind contains the opulent living accommodations and is preserved in a time warp from early last century. Adjacent... More

The titles says it all. This place houses few artifacts belonging to the Salar Jung's and not a worthy visit unless you have nothing better to do and have been to all the other awesome places in Hyd.
