Taj Falaknuma Palace is located about a 45 minute drive from central Hyderabad. Only guests and those who have reservations at one of the hotels are permitted to enter the hotel grounds. It is a nice drive up a small hill as one approaches the hotel. Here, after the security check we were transferred to their large gold carts for... More

On a Business trip to Hyderabad, I had the opportunity to have a Sit Down Dinner at the Rajasthani Garden at the Taj Falaknuma Palace. I must admit this was one of my best experiences at a 5 Star property. This is probably one of the best hotels in India. The Dinner was excellent and the service was even better.... More

Its a costly place and unless you are influenced, you can not enter inside the palace. Ambience is good and it is in a top 10 Hotels in India. I have observed that the common man is neglected by the staff here; Nawabs and Foreigners are given more respect that us.

Though recommended by everyone, all the palaces were closed for public viewing in January 2017. Worse when person at counter gives tickets as well charge for the camera though fully well that the palace is closed for renovation. Cars of Nizam are on display. Yellow Rolls Royce of Nizam is well maintained but the board describing the story behind this... More

found the whole affair to be very expensive. only people with reservations for lunch tea or dinner can visit for a guided tour. and it was a minimum spend of 3000+taxes per person.

This is an absolutely stunning place to visit in the midst of Hyderabad's dust. If you can arrange a dinner here, it is something to behold. It is also a very high-end hotel (i.e. Expensive), and it doesn't seem like a really great place to stay. Just my take on it because it is really removed from the rest of... More

We went for tea and a tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the moment you step in the staff is very attentive and the grounds are beautiful. A horse drawn carriage picks you up at the entrance. Rose petals will shower you upon entering the palace. The tea and snacks were delightful. The tour was lovely but don't take... More
