Non-profit 501-c-3 NM corporation formed to educate the public concerning the Shroud of Turin and the connection to New Mexico history through the world's largest scientific expedition ever launched to study a single artifact, which began in NM because of a proof developed in NM in 1976. Our mission is to make the Shroud of Turin an experience available to everyone through facts, exhibits and research. The exhibit features a full-size color scientific grade image of the Shroud and the only interactive 3D exhibit using a VP-8 Image analyzer, as well as recent 3D works by Dr. Petrus Soons. OPEN BY APPOINTMENT. MULTILINGUAL EXHIBITS.

Took grandchildren to visit. Lots of stuff for young and old, and older! Excellent gift shop. Definitely something for all ages. Take elevator to top and work your way down. No steps, just long descending passages to each floor. Try landing a space shuttle in...More

I didn't like this place at all. But it wasn't because of the lack of information. As far as museums go, it was a decent place. It's just all of the idols, and statues that bothered me. What happened to thou shall not make any...More

A creepy display hosted by an overbearing enthusiast, in an historic building that should be restored but is not.

What a fascinating place! You don't have to be Catholic to appreciate the information given and shown to you here about the Shroud of Turin. Dr. Silvius (I think that was his name) gave us such an in depth explanation of everything you needed to...More

We were impressed with the amount of and quality of the information. Located off the beaten path but well worth the visit. This is not a tourist trap rather a chance to see, hear and ask questions. A very personal experience. Don't only go to...More

I don't have the words to describe this experience. It does not matter if you belong to a particular religion, or not.. The history and science is fascinating. It was surprising to find this tucked away in Alamogordo, New Mexico. People from all over the...More

By the outside look of the museum, I didn't expect such a knowledgeable docent. We were pleasantly surprised. He stayed after closing time to talk to us. As we were leaving, some younger people came in and he was ready to speak with them. This...More

There are several videos with Spanish audio. We can have a Spanish speaking tour guide there if you call us at least 24 hours in advance of your visit.
