If you want to get back into the lap of nature, go to Dudhsagar waterfalls. Its far from the madding crowds. Once you reach Collem village, you board the four-wheel drive jeeps and enjoy the bumpy ride through the streams and jungle. Then you walk on foot for about 15 minutes to reach the waterfalls; hidden far away by Mother... More

The waterfalls themselves were amazing. Huge fish swim around, as well as smaller fishes that nip at you. We went around midday and it was not too crowded. The waterfall was falling lightly - any more water may have made the current too difficult to swim against. The Jeep center was located before the entrance and you have to pay... More

This waterfall is quite famous for the scenic view it offers especially in monsoon. Dudhsagar literally means the 'ocean of milk' and as the water flows down it looks as white as milk in the monsoons. There is a railway crossing halfway through the waterfall (at some distance from the waterfall obviously) and it is definitely a must-have experience to... More

Had a lovely day out visiting the falls, left our hotel at 7.30am and when we got there it was nice and quiet still. Swam in the waters and enjoyed the cool dip after the 30 minute bumpy jeep ride and 10 minute walk (not recommended for the very young or elderly/not mobile) I would recommend that you get here... We visited here last week. We took a jeep up to the falls from the small town and visitor centre. The journey took about 45 minutes along a dirt track was very uneven bumpy and dusty, but this added to the adventure. We then had a 10 minute walk to the falls which was made even more exiting as the... More

This waterfall got its name from the legend of the princess who bathed in the waterfall naked, and that to hide her nakedness she put on a jug of milk, the water was painted white. From that moment and Dudsagar, that in translation-dairy shores. Beautiful big waterfall.

The waterfall is fantastic once you are there. You can swim up to it and the water is great. Lots of fish and rocks in the water with you. Great for photos. Don't need life jackets if you can swim. We climbed the rocks around to the right to avoid crowds. The monkeys around the place are cool too. The... More
