Historical Viceroy's

Viceroy 's Arch situated at Candolim. This is historical old arch. Near stay the beautiful Mandovi river and jetty. Not more popular but nice and peaceful place.

The old entrance to the inside of the fortress walls back when the Portuguese ruled Goa. Must see while in Old Goa.

After concluding old Goa visit of magnificent churches ,Viceroy Arch gate should be visited. The historical facts are placed near the arch gate. Moving ahead from the gate few minutes should be given to see the beauty of river Mandovi & a jetty

This is simple Gate build in Arch shape by Portuguese viceroy in 16th Century. If you just take out this historical significance there is nothing to seen here. It is like simple gate of fort wall like structure. You can see the place enroute but not worth to go to specially this place.

Possibly not worth a special journey just to see it but if you are in the area it is worth stopping by to have a look, some nice history involved
