Do not carry mobile phone/Camera or valuables while visiting. Do watch the laser show in the evening.

The buildings are beautiful and the entire area is well maintained. The key highlight is the light and sound show, which is very unique and is one of its kind in India. Cameras, mobile phones, cigarettes, lighters and leather items are not allowed inside the premises. There is a cloak room just close to the main entry gate to keep... More

Best thing about this temple is it's amazing carving , though it's a newly build temple but worth going , on evening you may have light and sound show to witness , this temple is spread in huge area and also has got a good restaurant in the vicinity.

Huge temple! To enter you first have to check all of your belongings in to a bag room - no food/drink, no cameras/phone allowed. The walk to the temple has interesting signs to read. Temple itself is big. You go upstairs to see some history then down to basement to wander through some exhibits. Exhibition halls are well done- 60... More

The walkway to the temple is impressive with attractions on both sides. The temple itself is quiet and peaceful.

This temple is spectacular with all of the hand carved figures. We spent about 45 minutes exploring the main temple and went to the movie, did the boat ride and saw the water/ light show. The water show was wonderful and a fun surprise. We ended up spending about 4.5 hours on the grounds. It cost 250 rupees or $3.50... More

beautiful piece of architecture at Gandhinagar. Must visit. Clean well organised place. The story of SwamiNarayan depicted as a picture gallery with oil paintings on the first floor of the main temple is exquisite. the food complex, premvati, serves good food at reasonable prices. do not miss the swaminarayan khichdi here.
