small museum, but the maintenance part is worst.location is good.it is located in ranmal lake.need to be renovated soon

Recently renovated, light and sound show running at 7 PM and its beautiful, lifeline of Jamnagari... Royal JAM family made and give life to surrounding peoples, as a local to Jamnagar we thanks to king forever.

A photo opp. location in Jamnagar, a royal summer house that has been converted into a museum has a few ancient artifacts to offer as an exhibition, but its the location of the palace that makes the place worth a visit, no guides are available, but there is hardly anything much to explain

I have visited the same place 6 months ago. the place was surrounded by water , birds, swans and people. Now , beautification work is going on, the lake is dried and areas is vacated by hawkers. road work is on hence there is restriction of traffic Even one see veryless people in the evening hours.

Lakhota Palace was built by Jam Ranmalji of Jamnagar.This small palace is on island at middle of Lakhota Talav(Lake).This fort cum palace has semi-circular bastons,turrets, a pavalion with gaurds room housing swords, powder flasks and musket loops. A small palace cum museum site. Nice visit.

This palace is not at maintained.... Gujarat govt. should learn from Karnataka govt. how to maintain palaces... This May collapse at any time

a palace built on small lake. we saw it from a distance though we were curious to go inside we did not have enough time to do so

The Lakhota Lake, Palace n Museum r in a complex. Its vastness n architect r treat for xplorers. Museum is also very interesting if U hv gone thru its text knwledge. Lake encrges lot of birds local n migratory which creats n wonderful nvironment. A half day will b lost in it in whisker.
