Beautiful ... Breathtaking .We travelled to leh with our 6 years old and had a wonderful time . We gave 2 full days for acclimatisation as we took a flight from Bangalore to Leh, then we visited to nubra . You get river, sand and snow everything at one place and yes ....The mongolian horses ... We stayed in tents... More

Everything wonderful about it. Sand dunes, oasis, the local fruit, friendliest people on earth, humongous colorful mountains, OMG, we were awestruck. A must visit place.

I could able to visit NUBRA VALLEY during my 3rd Ladakh visit at age of 69. Took the same Leh-Khardunga La -Nubra & back route. This may be one of the rarest place where you can find all the 3 together.Dont forget to enjoy camel ride there.Evening is the best time to be there in deserts.One small river and restaurant is also there which is good.Diskit is approx 18 km from there and thoise is also nearby which is military airforce base.There are only small... Leh tour can not be completed unless you visit Nubra Vally. Wonderful site for camping, very good tents are available with good facilities. Nice sound of Nubra river when you stay in camps. Lush green trees on Nubra bank.

Turtuk village at the frontier of Pakistan is exceptional. You get portraits of amazing faces, calm valley where they grow buckwheat !!

Nubra valley is one of the finest valley. Greenery, sand and water streams all at the same place. Double humped camels are found there. Roads are bumpy but the experience the cold desert on heights.

You will be overwhelmed with the beauty of this valley which has been recovered by India from Pakistan in 1978 war. We had a great time, we went all the way to the oasis of Turtuk, great place to stay the night, although we might have to burst a bubble here, we hoped to see the 2nd highest mountain in the world K2. However although you are very close you can't actually see K2 from the town or even the border... More

Leh Ladakh has so much scenic beauty that you just can't take in one life. It's like a kid locked up in a toy factory, you see beautiful places one after the another and you just can't miss anything.
