We did not go to the fort but could see the fort on the hill top en-route several places. It looks majestic in the day as well as in the night when the lights are put on.

This is a fort which not too many tourists visit. There are around 250 steps that take you to the top of the fort. Not much to see in the fort but the climb gives a good view of the city

Hari parbat is a hill visible from Dal lake. It looks very beautiful with a Fort on top of it. We went up the hill to see the fort but were not allowed, as it is occupied by the security forces at present.
