The Tso Moriri lake is smaller than Pangong, but offers equally picturesque view with blue sky and crystal-blue water. Being inside a wetland protected area, we could see many birds like Black-necked cranes, Bar-headed geese, Brown-headed gulls, and Ferruginous duck. The crowd is far less...More

This lake is so beautiful if you coming back from leh to Manali one should not skip this lake. It's worth the visit. The roads to the lake are also so scenic. Please book in advance as there is less accommodation options here.

Most of the tourists skip this lake. But this is a place not to be missed. There are not many options here to stay. You might be able to see black neck cranes here or near Tso Kar lake which is close to this place.

This lake is spectacular, however if you have already visited Pangong, may feel repeatation. Also hotel options are very less unlike Pangong. Overall OK, but Pangong is superior. Also if you are interested can venture out few nomads close by, they are interesting. I personally...More
