Situated on Leh Srinagar highway, this museum is famous to depict the sacrifice of the Indian army. This places shows the collection from the wars and stuffs used by Indian soldiers. You can also see the tools used by the Indian soldiers on Siachen glaciers

It Shows how our soldiers have been fighting the wars. How many soldiers have been martryed. How the soldiers survive in the snow etc . Weapons siezed from Pakistan and China are on display

Must visit place in itinerary. Visit in the evening to see the retreating parade and spend some time in museum before that .

Visit at 7pm to see the Beating Retreat and movie. Felt really charged and patriotic after watching the sacrifices our soldiers make everyday for us.

I know i am very late in answering the question but let me answer it for other readers. The dates mentioned by you is not the best time to go but it is feasible. In my opinion, best time would be mid june to mid of august.
