My review might be different if there was no power outage during my visit. There were narrow path to go anywhere and it was hard to see when it's completely dark. I couldn't read descriptions through the path and there are many places I needed to pay extra to go around. Although the cost was not that much, it would... More

I am not sure how and when this became a temple! In early 2000s, I remember seeing just a huge idol of Shiva in the mist of all the houses/apartments behind the Kempfort. I was guessing that the statue was sort of an attraction for the shop/mall. Now it seems to have been converted into a full fledged 'temple' without... More

Visiting India with my husband , who was conducting business. I happened across this while out exploring. I was charged 250r, which l am learning now was too much. I was taken for the "westerner" that l am. I practice Christianity, but am very open to other's beliefs. I did not have a clue as to what to do, so... More

Hi All, I had visited this temple on Mahashivratri day ( 08/03/2017) I found that the management is forcing us to purchase ticket for Rs.150/- which I feel is looting the devotees... Once when we enter the caves are nice and since it's underground so feels suffocation but I suggest management to provide A/C so as to avoid suffocations. They... More

I went with my friends to shivoham shiva temple on shivratri so it was too crowded but every second we waited in line was worth when you actually saw the giant shiva idol. It gives lot of peace to see this shiva and on shivaratri it every 2 hour aarti was carried out. Everything was well managed in this temple.... More

This temple is very much in the mid of the city with a very huge statue of lord shiva. Though nothing much can be seen from the road, its beautiful inside.

I would start saying that the Shiva Statue is really great. It is a 3 storey height statue & nicely built. But the place is too much commercialized including entry tickets, there are miniatures being made for various devotional places across India. But one gets a good feeling while standing infront of the statue.

The statue is quite nice but really this temple is a money spinner for whoever runs it. We were asked multiple times for money and an entrance fee was charged which I don't agree with considering it is a place of worship. If you have time to spare it's ok but I wouldn't recommend if you have limited time.

There is a lot of room for mistakes here. Many ritual actions that require guidance (like washing feet, pouring milk over a lingam, knowing what to touch and what not to touch, etc). Since it's not in the guidebooks, you will need to get someone to take you. It's a modern temple, that puts you through a whole process of... More
