It was a wonderful experience which gives a splendid view of 3 dams. Visitors are not allowed to carry cameras or phones and will have to go to idukki town for capturing a full size pics of the dam

Try to go close to the Dam. If require take permission from the police. Go stand on your back on the dam an look up !!!!!!! You would never forget the view....555 ft above your head a dam stands curved on top. It's not just and arch dam, it's a parabolic dam.

Idukki Dam is restricted place, hence it will open for public during Xmas and Onam. Electronic devices are strictly prohibited, there is no locker, you left the things in your vehicle itself. It is on the way to the hill view park.

The view of Dam is good. Most peoples missed the vaishali cave which is the main attraction of this place. You need to take... More

The drive was about 1 hour from the Greenberg resort. Very curvy roads. You cannot use cameras to take pictures. You can walk across the dams, but there is not a direct route from one to the other. Several KM and not sure it is worth it unless you are really wanting to get out and just walk. There is... More

Not much of a beautiful place but it is good to visit this place if you are a first timer. Just like a usual dam

Awestruck with the structure. Amazing, the full view of the dam is visible from about 3km by road side from the DNA Location. Due to security no camera or mobile allowed. It's a long walk about 2kms one way to reach this dam.

Hot place, Best time to visit in morning. Must see if you are interested in seeing large massive structures.. Cannot see any electricity production there as it is done in Moolamettam at the bottom. Here also visit is restricted due to security reasons
