famous siva temple in kerala. It is said that it is very sacred if u visit vaikom,kaduthuruthy,ettumanoor temple before noon(ie 11.30 am) within a day. mural paintings around main temple very famous free food served to all people those who visit auspicious day - "Vaikathashtami"

One of the main Siva temple in Kottayam.. "Vaikkathu Astami" festival is very famous with lot of devotes pouring in to temple even from far away locations..
