Such a privilege to be able to go into this old temple. A temple has been on this site for 2000 years and this building has been there for 1000. The depictions of Lord Vishnu , Lord Hanuman and Durga are amazing. Definitely a must see

A lot of history to this temple! Everyday the decoration of the idol changes which is magnificent! The beach is just 5 mins walk and umpteen number of shacks within the vicinity. Shanti! Shanti!

Nice calm place. Helps to freshen up our soul and body. Fusion of natures beauty and the temples ambience is mind blowing.

Well probably the temple is quite good inside, but tourists cannot go in as those are the temple rules. So there is not much to see there, but walking around it.

We went inside but straight away were asked to pay a donation money for the temple. We went in however and was wondering around. I tried to go inside... More

We had planned for a day visit to Varkala beach and our cab driver took us to lot of places in Varkala. After spending about 2 to 3 hours in the Varkala beach, we visited the Janardhana Swamy temple. This temple is walk-able distance from the beach. We had to wait till 4:30 PM for the temple to open. Not... More
